Memorial for the victims of German occupation of Hungary in 1944 - Today I spent my afternoon in Budapest, the Capitol of Hungary where while walking in the 5th district I noticed a new monument for the victims of the German occupation of Hungary and in front of it there were photos, documents, toys and belongings to some of the victims.
The monument was built this summer by the Hungarian government and for many historians from the country it is a forgery of the history about the World War II and they are protesting for its removal. The monument is now the most protected object in Hungary.
